Pershore U3A Singers

Our choir is called the Pershore U3A Singers and it was formed nearly 10 years ago - one of the first 'interest groups', as they are called, to be set up when Pershore U3A began. We started with just a handful of members, several of whom had never sung in a choir before. There are 28 of us now.

We sing mainly for our own pleasure, but do give occasional performances to church groups, WIs, and Old People's Homes - and we're due to sing in the Baptist Church on Carnival Day.

We meet once a fortnight throughout the year, from 2.15 to 4.15 in the Church. We welcome new members, particularly tenors! Membership of U3A is necessary, but doesn't cost a lot. The ability to sing in tune is the main qualification, but we don't expect good sight-reading skills.

Enquiries about joining or booking the Pershore U3A Singers are welcome. Contact the leader/conductor of the group, Ken Morris on 01386 553661.
