Prayer Diary

Prayer for the Week: God, sometimes life gets me down and I find it hard to see things to be thankful for. Open my eyes to see the gifts you’ve given me in my life. I’m going to start by thanking you for loving me enough to come to earth and die so we can live together forever.  Amen

HEBA:                                      Worcester Baptist Church                                     Darren Smith

Please pray for us as we embark on the process of calling a part time youth worker, especially that God is already speaking to the one who He wants to join us in developing our youth work and serving the youth already at the church, as well reaching out into the local community.

We have spoken much as a church recently about how we feel we are entering a ‘new season’, so we would welcome prayer as that happens. We pray particularly for some of the older members of the church for whom this kind of change can sometimes be a little threatening.

March to June is a busy time for us. We launch Lightbox, a new drop in youth café, in conjunction with 2 other churches. In May we have our annual children’s holiday club. In June we have our annual big lunch event and this year we also have a weekend outreach with a visit from a MAF plane and simulator. Prayers for these events would be very welcome

For more information about our church please contact one of the Deacons or email:
